Think clear retainers, but form-fitted to your teeth so that it almost seems as though you are wearing nothing. More discreet than traditional braces and they can be removed for special occasions such as weddings.
About this treatment
“Invisible” braces
Naturally, the first image that comes to mind when hearing the word “braces” is metal brackets on teeth (or “train tracks”); fortunately, orthodontics has evolved to allow for many new aesthetic options.
What is Invisalign?
-
Custom-made clear, removable aligners, that are changed periodically under the guidance of an orthodontist.
-
These clear retainers gradually move the teeth into the desired position and real change can be seen in a matter of months.
-
Invisalign aligners hardly affect speech and are taken out for short periods of time when cleaning teeth or eating.

During your consultation, x-rays, photos and a digital scan (or a dental impression) will be taken of your teeth to create a clear picture of how the teeth are now.
It is then possible to use software to show the path of the realignment, to see how each aligner will move your teeth and the final outcome, all before it even starts.
