Simon Nocton
Is our dental implant surgeon, with a referral practice within The Dental Surgery focused on replacing missing teeth in a safe, predictable and aesthetic way. Through The Implant Surgery, he works closely with referring clinicians in both placing dental implants and restoring them, often as a part of comprehensive dental rehabilitations or cosmetic reconstructions. Having qualified in 1987 he placed his first implant in 1989.
After working in training roles in five different London Teaching Hospitals in oral and maxillofacial surgery, he went on to hold a teaching position at Guys Hospital Dental School for a further ten years. As one of the first dentists in the UK to study implantology, he is now a Fellow of The International Team for Implantology and recognised as both a speaker and mentor in implantology. His commitment to teaching and education further extends to personal one-on-one lecturing and webinar learning.
Simon utilises the latest three-dimensional technology and imaging to achieve the most accurate and predictable treatment results. In 2005 he launched U Dentistry, an implant referral practice in Illkey, Yorkshire. He has also been actively involved in the development of two different implant systems widely used by other practitioners.
Outside of work, Simon is a committed and determined cyclist, having completed several Grand Tour stages as well as Land’s End to John o’ Groats in aid of charitable organisations such as Saving Faces.
Shaun Smith
A graduate of Otago (New Zealand) in 1983, Shaun joined the practice in 1989. His special areas of interest include complicated restorative cases, management of stress related problems (tooth-wear, headaches) and difficult cosmetic cases.
He is a member of The British Academy of Aesthetic Dentistry, The British Society of Occlusal Studies, The American Equilibration Society, The British Society of Periodontology, The Association of Dental Implantologists, The British Dental Association, The Chicago Dental Society, and The London Dental Study Club.

Penny Grace
Penny trained at Guy’s Hospital, graduating in 1992. Working in the City of London, she has been with The Dental Surgery for over 22 years.
Penny’s main skill set lies in placing and restoring implants, in patients, and those patients referred to her. More recently, Penny has been focused on our minimally invasive smile design service, tailored to the patient’s vision.
Penny endeavours to provide high quality patient care in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere and treats both her regular and new patients with the same thoughtful and thorough care. She stays well-informed of current techniques through local and international development courses.
She is a member of the British Dental Association (BDA), The Association of Dental Implantologists (ADI), The International Team of Implantologists (ITI) and the British Dental Bleaching Society (BDBS).
Kirsty Fiddes
A graduate from the University of Otago (Dunedin, New Zealand) in 1993, Kirsty worked in private practice in Wellington for 5 years before emigrating to London to join the team at The Dental Surgery in 1999.
Kirsty has spent the last 20 years developing her dental skills and knowledge and is supremely qualified to care for all your dental needs. She is dedicated to the newest advancements in general and cosmetic dentistry.
Her thirst for knowledge and the ever-changing dental technology sees Kirsty travelling extensively to attend courses and seminars. She is a past President of the London Dental Study Club and the current President of the New Zealand Dental Society in London Club.
Kirsty enjoys working within The Dental Surgery team, collaborating with her colleagues and specialists to ensure her patients receive the best treatments and recommendations.
She welcomes all her patients, including new patients and emergency treatments, into her friendly and relaxed surgery where you will be well looked after.
She is very active in her Otago University Alumni and NZ Women’s Business Network and enjoys running around after her 2 daughters, Nico and Lexie.
Ben Molyneux
Is our specialist in implants for over 16 years, and has developed a thriving practice based on both the surgical and prosthetic aspects of implants.
He has placed and restored several thousand implants and believes in going the extra mile to complete all treatment in the best and simplest way, to provide ideal end results with minimal trauma. Patient comfort throughout is always the priority.
Ben passionately pursues further education and has a broad surgical implant experience, including autogenous bone grafting procedures and sinus augmentation. He is one of the few practitioners to have achieved the much-coveted Diploma in Implant Dentistry and Advanced Surgical Certificate at the Royal College of Surgeons.
Ben has an all-consuming enthusiasm for implants and works closely with referring clinicians, who appreciate his open access surgery policy and relish their active involvement in each case from planning to completion.
Martin Bell
Graduated from King’s College London in 1990 and went on to gain a Masters Degree in 1996 from Guys Hospital. There, he taught undergraduates and postgraduates on a part time basis for six years.
He joined the team in 1995 and has worked exclusively at the practice for over 20 years, building up a loyal patient base and offering a broad range of care focused on repairing or replacing damaged or missing teeth, as well as all aspects of general oral care.
As with the rest of the team, Martin takes a keen interest in post graduate education and has been a past president of the London Dental Study Club.
He lives in London and is married with three children.
Kate Yeaton
Qualified with distinction in her final year from the University of Dundee, following which, she became a member of the Faculty of Dental Surgery (MFDS) at the Royal College of Surgeons, Edinburgh. She completed postgraduate training as a Senior House Officer in Guy’s Hospital London where she worked in specialist departments including Special Care Dentistry, Oral Surgery, and Restorative Dentistry, where she was responsible for performing a wide range of advanced treatments.
It was here that she first developed her talent for aesthetic dentistry. Having also obtained a Masters in History of Art (MA) from Trinity College Dublin, she uses her artistic skills to obtain optimal but natural looking results while employing the latest and most advanced techniques for white fillings, veneers and crowns.
Kate’s main interests lie in the fields of Oral Surgery and dental implants. She worked as a Specialty dentist in Oral Surgery at Guy’s Hospital for many years and in 2019 she was awarded a Masters in Dental Implantology from the University of Bristol. She is a member of the International Team for Implantology (ITI) and the Association of Dental Implantology (ADI). She keeps up-to-date with the latest evidence-based implant dentistry by attending courses frequently, ensuring that she provides the highest quality of dental care to each patient.
Kate is also an advanced facial aesthetic practitioner, performing a variety of anti-ageing treatments. As well as her dental qualifications Kate is pursuing a Masters in Skin Ageing at The University of Manchester. In addition, she holds advanced qualifications in medical grade skin care, dermal fillers and anti-wrinkle and skin remodelling treatments.
She is committed to providing friendly, patient-centred treatment, and their gentle approach puts nervous patients at ease.
Kate is a yoga enthusiast and an avid runner and tennis player. She loves travelling and is fluent in both French and Spanish.
James Granger
A graduate of the University of Bristol in 2003, James worked in the South West of England and Cambridge before settling in London in 2009.
With nearly 20 years of experience James has accumulated a wealth of dental knowledge and expertise in all areas of his field. He has created a gentle, friendly and approachable practice in which to provide exceptional dentistry.
James has always placed a high regard on professional development.
His main area of interest and expertise is in endodontic treatments. Having achieved an MSc with distinction from King’s College London, he is driven to provide high quality endodontic and restorative treatments in a comfortable and stress free setting. Keeping his patients’ best interests at the heart of all his treatments, patients feel relaxed and at ease in his practice.
James’ home life is based in North West London, where he lives with his partner and two young boys. He enjoys an active life particularly tennis, running and cycling.

Andrew Gardner
Having graduated from King’s College London in 2014, he enjoys all aspects of dental care with a particular interest in minimally invasive cosmetic treatments that improve the appearance of discoloured or chipped teeth.
His warm and engaging approach explains why children and anxious patients of all ages feel comfortable and confident in their dental treatment with him.
Andrew is determined to shape the future of cosmetic dentistry with “invisible fillings” – the ideal, natural-looking way to restore strength and function to damaged teeth.
He is currently undergoing further courses to enhance his skill set while learning first hand from some of UK’s leading Teams at The Dental Surgery.
Andrew continually striving to ensure his patients receive the most innovative and up to date treatments at the highest quality.

Adam Richardson
Adam enjoys treating a wide range of patients and has trained extensively in providing the highest quality restorative dentistry. He takes pride in his ability to help patients overcome their anxieties with his calm and relaxed approach in surgery.
After qualifying from the University of Manchester, he moved to London and completed a PG Certificate in Advanced Restorative Dentistry.
He is confident treating orthodontic cases with Invisalign, obtaining a PG Diploma in Clear Aligner Therapy. Additionally, Adam gained his membership of the Faculty of Dental Surgeons (MFDS) at the Royal College of Surgeons in Glasgow.
Seeking to broaden his horizons, Adam moved to New Zealand, where he worked in private practice and trained alongside leading Kiwi dentists. Relocating to the other side of the world was a brilliant experience and eye opening to see how patients are treated globally. Three years exploring the South Pacific was tough, but someone had to do it.
He is currently enrolled in the GIDE Implant Master Clinician Programme in California and is looking forward to working alongside the amazing clinicians at The Dental Surgery.
Outside of dentistry, you’ll find Adam out on the golf course, cycling his Brompton to work or taking his defensive duties too seriously at 7-a-side football.

Yiannis Valilas
Graduated as a dentist from the University of Siena, Italy in 2002. In 2005 he moved to the UK, where almost simultaneously, he started his career as both a general dental practitioner and facial aesthetics physician. In 2008 he completed a 1-year Diploma in Advanced Aesthetic Dentistry with UCL. To further his education, in 2011 he took an Msc in Restorative and Advanced Dentistry with the University of Manchester.
Yiannis’ career journey started in 2007, and he’s since completed countless hands-on training courses on Facial Aesthetics from some of the best in the UK and abroad, covering treatments such as: anti-wrinkle injections, dermal fillers, skin boosters, mesotherapy, micro-needling, and skin care with medical grade / botanical / cosmeceuticals brands.

Nick Leach
After graduating, Nick quickly realised his artistic strengths in the field of aesthetic and restorative dentistry and has built an extensive portfolio of treatments. His main focus is the provision of high quality cosmetic dentistry using the latest techniques and an optimised patient journey. Nick believes in the use of digital 3D graphics and advanced photography in his planning. He is an experienced provider of the Invisalign teeth straightening system and often combines this with complex composite and ceramic restorations. Nick enjoys getting to know his patients well to formulate individualised treatment plans with patient comfort a priority and finds his job very rewarding with the life changing effects of a beautiful smile.
In his spare time, he enjoys keeping fit at the gym, snowboarding, playing golf and tennis.
Emma Smith
Qualified from Kings College, London in 2012. Emma’s enthusiastic approach ensures every patient feels important.
She believes it’s important for every patient to understand what’s happening inside their mouth, so they can work together towards maintaining optimum oral health.
Explaining things in a way every patient understands is the first step to a healthy mouth and a part of each appointment with Emma.
Emma’s motto is “A smile is one of the first things people notice, clean and healthy teeth give you confidence and something to smile about.”
Outside of work, Emma enjoys swimming, socialising and catching the latest films.
Sophie Dickson
Is a qualified dental hygienist and dental therapist from South East England.
Sophie enjoys working with our multidisciplinary team to give patients the best possible overall dental care.
Sophie has a strong focus on the individual and ensures each patient receives the highest standard of treatment.
She also ensures they leave with an understanding of the importance of good oral hygiene.
Practising what she preaches, Sophie looks after her general health by keeping fit in her spare time and staying up to date with the latest innovations in the dental hygiene sector.

Jessie Boyle

Rebecca Shipp

Laura Williams
Qualified as a hygienist and therapist from King’s College Hospital, London. She has since worked in specialist hospital environments as well as private practice, gaining a wealth of experience.
She is passionate about preventing and treating oral disease and ensuring each patient has a positive experience.
She is an advocate for wellbeing and is trained in teaching yoga and mindfulness.
Paige Hall
Has been a part of The Dental Surgery team for over nine years where she started her career as a trainee dental nurse. During this time, she realised her interest in dentistry, prompting her to further her education. Since then she has qualified as a Dental Hygienist and Therapist from the University of Portsmouth Dental Academy.
Paige is enthusiastic about providing person-centred care and prides herself on a gentle and caring approach which creates a relaxed environment for her patients, and is committed to developing her knowledge and skill set to enhance patient care and achieves this by attending various courses

Louise Stark
Louise’s journey in dentistry began in 2017 when she was doing a modern apprenticeship, training as a dental nurse.
She was immediately drawn to how patient’s confidence could be transformed from cosmetic dentistry & hygiene visits, this fed into her interest in dentistry giving her the drive to contribute to the dental industry. Finishing her dental nurse apprenticeship in 2019 she furthered her education and skill set by going to university.
Louise qualified from Glasgow Caledonian University with a Degree in Oral Health Science in 2022. She enjoyed her time at university and the teaching hospitals where she carried out restorations on children & adults in Public Dental Services, Hygiene visits & treating young infants with cleft lip/palate in the Children’s Hospital. Skilled in treating dentally anxious patients, she enjoys making patients feel at ease with her kind and calm nature.
Louise is dedicated to learning and expanding her skills, she has recently attended a course in posterior composite restorations, Dental Photography & intends to attend many more courses to add to her skill set & knowledge giving the best treatment to her patients. She is passionate in educating her patients in how to up keep optimal oral health at home and promoting oral health.

Omar Patel
As a Specialist Periodontist, Omar qualified in 2003 from the University of Glasgow, winning the prize for conservative dentistry as an undergraduate.
In 2005, he became a practice principal and subsequently a vocational trainer with the responsibility of training newly qualified dentists.
Omar was awarded the Diploma of Membership of the Faculty of General Dental Practitioners, Royal College of Surgeons of England in 2007.
He was also awarded the Diploma of Membership of the Faculty of Dental Surgery, Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow in 2008.
Whilst in general practice, Omar undertook advanced training in restorative dentistry at the Eastman Dental Institute, completing the Certificate in Restorative Dental Practice.
On completion of 4 years of specialist training in periodontics in London, he was awarded Masters in Clinical Dentistry from King’s College London and Membership in Periodontics from Royal College of Surgeons, Edinburgh.
Omar was previously a consultant at Guy’s Hospital, London and undertakes all aspects of periodontal therapy including surgical, non-surgical, muco-gingival, crown lengthening and implant therapy.
As well as providing periodontal care at The Dental Surgery, Omar’s special interest is in the association between periodontal disease and diabetes. In 2015, he received the Ron F. Wilson award from King’s College London for clinical research and has presented his research internationally.
For a number of years, he has been an examiner for the Licence in Dental Surgery, Royal College of Surgeons, England, the oldest continuously existing dental qualification in the United Kingdom.
Omar is a keen golfer and tennis player and enjoys hill walking and long distance running at the weekends. He also has a degree in computing and a passion for all things technological.
Elaine Brough
Is a registered Specialist Orthodontist with vast amounts of experience in helping both adults and children achieve their perfect smiles through straightening teeth.
Having studied Dentistry at Newcastle Dental School where she qualified with Merit in 2002, she then proceeded to work towards her Master of Philosophy degree while treating anxious dental patients in private practice and hospital settings.
Following these achievements she embarked on a 3 year orthodontic specialty training programme at Kings College London in 2007, and gained a Master’s degree with Merit before completing her specialty examination at the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh.
Elaine is a member of the British Orthodontic Society (BOS) and a certified Invisalign and Incognito Practitioner. Her research into Smile Attractiveness has been published in the American Journal of Orthodontics, further acknowledging her strength in this field.
Her specialist training is evident in her management of nervous patients. In placing her patients’ needs at the forefront of treatment, and taking time to listen to and address all their concerns, every patient receives her full attention and care to achieve a beautiful smile.

Dr Stuart Yeaton
Is a Specialist Orthodontist who, in addition to working at The Dental Surgery, also works as a Consultant Orthodontist at The Gillies Unit in Queen Mary’s Hospital, Sidcup.
Stuart completed his orthodontic specialty training at the prestigious Eastman Dental Hospital, where he gained his masters in orthodontics and entry onto the General Dental Council specialist list.
Stuart then underwent further training at the South Thames Cleft Centre and Guy’s Hospital to become a Consultant Orthodontist, treating complex multidisciplinary cases.
Stuart’s research has been published in the European Journal of Dental Education and he is now responsible for the training of Orthodontists and Orthodontic Consultants.
Stuart believes in ensuring patients truly understand the different orthodontic treatment options available to them, so that they can be confident in choosing the right treatment for their individual needs.

Kirsty Roger
Qualified as an Orthodontic Therapist from the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh in November 2020.
Kirsty has been actively involved within the dentistry profession since 2009 and worked as an Additional Duties Nurse and Dental Nurse Tutor and IQA prior to qualifying.
Her strengths include putting nervous patients at ease with her gentle and caring approach, and she describes herself as very passionate and enthusiastic, who likes to continuously learn and challenge herself.
In her spare time, she enjoys travelling, going to the gym, and dining out.
In 2019, she ran the London Marathon for the international Children’s Cleft Lip and Palate charity, ‘Smile Train’ to raise money to provide free surgery to children in developing countries.
