Just after I left the surgery, and for the first time in my life, a lady stranger stopped me on the tube to compliment me on my smile. What more can I say. These guys are the best.”

Having qualified in 1987 he placed his first implant in 1989.
After working in training roles in five different London Teaching Hospitals in oral and maxillofacial surgery, he went on to hold a teaching position at Guys Hospital Dental School for a further ten years. As one of the first dentists in the UK to study implantology, he is now a Fellow of The International Team for Implantology and recognised as both a speaker and mentor in implantology. His commitment to teaching and education further extends to personal one-on-one lecturing and webinar learning.
Simon utilises the latest three-dimensional technology and imaging to achieve the most accurate and predictable treatment results. In 2005 he launched U Dentistry, an implant referral practice in Illkey, Yorkshire. He has also been actively involved in the development of two different implant systems widely used by other practitioners.
Outside of work, Simon is a committed and determined cyclist, having completed several Grand Tour stages as well as Land’s End to John o’ Groats in aid of charitable organisations such as Saving Faces.

He has placed and restored several thousand implants and believes in going the extra mile to complete all treatment in the best and simplest way, to provide ideal end results with minimal trauma. Patient comfort throughout is always the priority.
Ben passionately pursues further education and has a broad surgical implant experience, including autogenous bone grafting procedures and sinus augmentation. He is one of the few practitioners to have achieved the much-coveted Diploma in Implant Dentistry and Advanced Surgical Certificate at the Royal College of Surgeons.
